AtkinsRéalis, on behalf of RioTinto, put an IPDT (Integrated Project Delivery Team) into place for the rehabilitation of the Centrale îles Maligne station, located in Alma, QC.

Equinox Construction Services was hired to integrate and managed the Master Construction Schedule that will be used for the duration of the 8 year long project that will invoive 170 professionals, 200 workers and various stakeholders.

The work involves replace 8 turbine and generator units along with various anciliary work, electrical work and mechanical items.

Equinox, as the key Construction Planner, was in charge of all Planning ressources involved in this phase, including remote and on-site personnel, reported directly to the Project Manager, and was part of the Steering Comittee for the Execution work.

Finally, Equinox' mission involves supply various key personnel, on loan to AtkinsRéalis, with skills in Project Management, Construction Management, Planning (Primavera P6), Estimating, Coordination, Constructibility Review, Early Contractor Involvement and Change Management.
