Limoges and fils Inc mandated Equinox Construction Services (ECS) to manage the replacement of the Monette Dam in Quebec City. ECS carried out the procurement review and Project Management, Construction Management, and provided QA/QC supervision for the work carried out by Limoges and fils.

The scope of the project include the complete reconstruction of the dam including the foundation, retaining walls, spillway and shoreline protection. Additionnaly, the Monette Lake’s water level was lowered in order to reclassify the dam to a lower consequence level. Following this, the entire perimeter of the lake was revegetated as part of an environmental rehabilitation program.

During this remediation work, ECS provided topography survey services, volumetric and inventory calculations.
