We support PMI’s 2022 Hours for Impact initiative where we have committed to assisting local organizations in executing their projects

Our team also volunteers to help organize events in their technical and personal circles, most recently the PMI’s 2022 Revelations Symposium.

We are always looking for additional causes to support, from river and lake cleanups to teaching and volunteer opportunities to many others.

Dam Statutory Inspection X002998

Description de projet

The City of Saint-Eugène-de-Guigues, owner of dam X0002998, mandated Equinox Construction Services (ECS) to undertake a Statutory Inspection of the dam, including a visual analysis of all components, including, but not limited to: Piers, closure dikes, beam handling systems, retaining and gabion walls, as well as the access systems, the discharge canal, and the upstream impoundment, along with the downstream stretch and the tailrace invert.

Following this inspection, ECS prepared a Statutory Inspection Report including, among other aspects, a description of how the inspection was conducted, ECS's observations (with annotated photos), recommendations as to the current condition of the dam and its status, and finally a preliminary estimate of the construction costs associated with the recommendations.

This inspection is required by the Loi sur la sécurité des barrages and in line with the Réglement sur la sécurité des barrages.

During the inspection, particular attention was given to elements such as: Public Safety Around Dams, Environmental Protection, and the condition of structural elements.
