Equinox Construction Services was awarded a 5-year contract by Hydro-Québec to support its Estimating and Planning departments with specialized construction expertise.

Hydro-Québec required specialized estimating and planning support for a wide range of projects, both under construction and upcoming, across multiple locations in Quebec.

Equinox Construction Services was brought in to provide expert estimating, planning and project control support to Hydro-Québec’s internal teams.
Through this 5-year mandate, Equinox’s teams will collaborate directly with Hydro-Québec project teams and stakeholders to support active and upcoming projects. Their role includes reviewing contractors’ proposals, attending project kick-off meetings, preparing and updating schedules, supporting cost and schedule control and contributing to risk analysis.
The mandate also includes support for long-term planning, schedule crashing and mitigation plans, allowing Hydro-Québec teams to make informed decisions and maintain control over project execution.
